¿Qué es una cookie?

Una cookie es un pequeño archivo que se almacena en el ordenador del usuario y permite reconocerle, aunque en ningún caso se trata de información de carácter personal que permita identificarle. Sus principales funciones son llevar el control de usuarios, o conseguir información sobre los hábitos de navegación. Las cookies son esenciales para el funcionamiento de Internet, aportando innumerables ventajas en la prestación de servicios interactivos.

¿Qué tipo de cookies hay y para qué se utilizan?

La información que le proporcionamos a continuación, le ayudará a comprender los diferentes tipos de cookies:

a) Según la forma de almacenamiento de los datos:

• Cookies de sesión: Son cookies temporales que permanecen en el archivo de cookies de su navegador hasta que abandone la página web, por lo que no queda registrada en el disco duro del usuario. La información obtenida por medio de estas cookies, sirve para analizar pautas de tráfico en la web.
• Cookies permanentes: Son almacenadas en el disco duro del usuario y nuestra web las lee cada vez que usted realiza una nueva visita. Poseen una fecha de expiración determinada. La cookie dejará de funcionar después de esa fecha.

b) Según el nivel de relación con el usuario:

• Cookies de origen: Servidas directamente por el mismo dominio web visitado por el usuario (ej. www.nombredeldominio.com) y normalmente vinculadas a la propia prestación del servicio o tareas de analítica web.
• Cookies de terceros: Vinculadas a nombres de dominio alternativos del mismo prestador, o bien a proveedores externos de éste especializados en gestión de campañas publicitarias, personalización o, igualmente, analítica web. Mientras que todos los navegadores aceptan inicialmente cookies de origen, algunos de ellos deshabilitan las de tercera a falta de una acción expres

c) Según el nivel de intrusividad:

• Nivel 1: Se corresponde con cookies de uso interno imprescindibles para la prestación del propio servicio solicitado por el usuario.
• Nivel 2: Se corresponde con cookies anónimas de uso interno necesarias para el mantenimiento de contenidos y navegación, así como a cookies gestionadas por terceros en el marco de servicios solicitados expresamente por el usuario en las webs de aquellos (ej.: Plugins de Facebook o Twitter).
• Nivel 3: Se corresponde con cookies gestionadas por terceros en el marco de servicios no solicitados expresamente por el usuario, permitiendo un seguimiento a través de webs externas de las que el propietario de la web visitada por el usuario no es titular (ej.: gestión de publicidad, tienda online). La especificación de este nivel viene acompañada de su titular. El uso de cookies de nivel 3 está sujeto al permiso previo del usuario mediante confirmación expresa de su aceptación.

Personal Data Protection

With this legal notice, The Canary Sailing Federation informs all users of the website page about its privacy policy and personal data protection to decide, freely and voluntarily, if they wish to provide the personal information that may be required on the services offered.

In this sense, the user can provide us voluntarily personal information through the fata collection forms included in the website, through the email addresses provided or by telephone.

The Federation guarantees the confidentiality of the information provided as well as it commits to comply with the obligations established in the Data Protection General Regulations, 2016/679, of 27 April and Organic Law 3/2018, on Data Protection and Digital rights guarantee, of 5 December and for such purpose informs about its data protection policy

Data Transfer: there is no international transfer planned.

Users can exercise the following rights:

a) Access to their personal information;
b) Amendment of their personal information for updating;
c) Suppression, when among other reasons, the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected;
d) Data processing limitation, in certain circumstances, in which case, the responsible of the data processing will only keep the information to exercise or defend any claims;
e) Opposition to data processing, in certain circumstances and for reasons related to his/her specific situation, in which case, the responsible of the data processing will only keep the information to exercise or defend any claims;
f) Personal data portability, when these are automated. For such person, the interested party must contact the social venue indicated with a written and signed request accompanied by a copy of the ID/Passport.

The interested party has the right to withdraw the consent at any point with no effects on the permissibility of data processing based on the consent prior to the withdrawal.

The interested party can submit a claim to the corresponding Data Protection Control Authority, especially when he/she is not satisfied with the exercise of his/her rights and the way to contact the responsible agent. 

Entry in the regatta

Purpose of the processing: personal data collected will be processed with the objective of carrying out a correct management, control and promotion of the regatta.

Data retention: the data will be retained as long as required for organisation, historic and statistic purposes, and as long as the interested party does not request its suppression.

Data transfer recipients: The Sports Federations related to the event, exclusively when exclusively required; Insurance companies when needed as a result of incidents/accidents occurred during the event and collaborators and sponsors when the interested party has given his/her consent.

Contact: information provided by interested parties whether by email, contact form or telephone will be processed in order to provide the information requested as well as to provide information of interest to the interested parties.  

Data retention: the personal data collected will be retained as long as there is an existing mutual interest. The interested party can require their suppression.

Data processing legitimation: the legal base for the processing of your data is legitimate concern of the responsible agent, the contractual relationship and/or consent of the interested party.

Data transfer recipients: there is no planned data transfer.

This legal notice regulates the access and use of this website, whose objective is to offer users information considered of interest.

The website owner can modify at any point and without prior notice, the design, presentation and/or configuration of this site, conditions of use as well as some or all services.

All contents, including but not limited to texts, photographs, graphics, images, icons, technology, software, links and other audio-visual or sound contents, as well as the graphic design and Font colours, and the intellectual property rights of these contents, as well as all brands, trade names or any other distinctive sign, are the property of their legitimate owners. Furthermore, all applicable rights are reserved with no exploitation rights transferred to the user, other than that strictly necessary for the correct use of the website.

Navigation, access and security

The Club will make all efforts to offer the best navigation conditions and avoid any prejudices that could occur while navigating.
The Club accepts no liability for any kind of prejudices suffered by users due to the use of other browsers or different versions of the web browsers for which the website has been designed.

Exemption of liability and compliance clause

The Club will ensure the correction of any errors. Nevertheless, some files or contents may have been created non-exempt of errors and therefore there is no guarantee that the service might be interrupted or affected in any way for such problems.

This website contains some links to external pages over which the CLUB has no control whatsoever and over which it declines all liability.  
For any contentious issue or any other issue involving the CLUB website , the Spanish law will apply and  in order to solve any conflicts resulting from or related to the use of this website, the Law Courts and Tribunals of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria – Las Palmas - Spain.
